Apple TV+ has axed new comedy drama High Desert after one season.
The series featuring Patricia Arquette launched on May 17 and wrapped on June 21 -by July 1 is was all over.
On Instagram she said, “A lot of you have asked about High Desert and if there was going to be a second season, we just found out that it won’t be coming back. That’s a sad bummer for all of us,” she said.
Arquette played Peggy, an on-again-off-again addict who made a new start as a private investigator.
The series also featured Brad Garrett, Weruche Opia, Bernadette Peters and Rupert Friend with Christine Taylor, Matt Dillon and Eden Brolin recurring.
