Seven wins Thursday with AFL. Game shows top entertainment.

AFL helps Seven to their first win for the week. The Chase & Hot Seat are best in entertainment.

Sport was another drawcard last night helping Seven to win their first night of the week.

Seven’s AFL averaged 359,000 metro viewers across the network while Nine averaged 310,000 for the Women’s State of Origin.

The Chase topped entertainment at 552,000 / 336,000 while Hot Seat was second at 423,000 / 288,000.

7:30 led its slot with 376,000 ahead of MasterChef Australia (371,000), Miriam & Alan: Lost in Scotland & Beyond (234,000) and Inside Sydney Airport (110,000).

Screening later were Grand Designs NZ (168,000) and The First Inventors (150,000).

Seven network won Thursday with 32.6% then Nine 28.9%, 10 15.3%, ABC 15.0% and SBS 8.1%.

Seven News was #1 at 896,000 / 877,000. Home & Away was 359,000 with some cities on 7TWO. Highway Patrol was 184,000 across the network with Britain’s Got Talent at 127,000.

Nine News drew 788,000 / 770,000 for Nine. A Current Affair led with 569,000. In select cities were RBT (140,000) and Paramedics (109,000).

The Project managed 236,000 / 176,000. 10 News First drew 219,000 / 147,000. Cheap Seats replayed to 87,000.

ABC News pulled 554,000 for ABC. The Drum (164,000) and One Plus One (106,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (147,000 / 100,000), The Devil’s Confession (94,000) and Normal People (42,000).

Octonauts led multichannels at 109,000.

The Morning Show: 138,000 / 93,000
Today Extra: 130,000 / 95,000
